Worshiping God; Growing in Christ; Reaching the World

A Church Worth Finding

A Word From Our Pastor

Dear Church Family,

I hope this newsletter finds all of you healthy and safe.  It has been a difficult road to travel over the past few months and the end is still not in sight.  But, with our faith in our Lord, we have been able to continue to be His church channeling Christ’s love in our community during this crisis.  Thank you for your faithfulness.

Our goal was to get back in the sanctuary in July, but after much praying and soul-searching, God will not give me a peace about going back in the sanctuary for our services.  As a good steward and shepherd of God’s sheep, I am convicted by the Holy Spirit that we need to continue with Car Church through July.  I know some of you disagree, and that is okay.  But, as the pastor of the church, I have to do as the Lord leads me.  My goal is to keep everyone safe as we continue to worship and serve our risen Savior and Lord.

Because Independence Day is on a Saturday, we will not have Car Church on July 5th.  Instead, the service will be broadcast on facebook that Sunday morning and put on our website on Monday of that week.  Then, on July 12th, we will continue with Car Church at 9:00 a.m., instead of 9:30.  I know that is only a 30 minute change, but I think it will help with the heat at some level.

Again, let me share with you your choices of worship at Crosswell Baptist Church:

Sundays in July: Car Church 9:00—9:30 a.m.

Facebook streaming 9:00—9:30 a.m.

All other days: Services found on our website. Crosswellbaptist.org Also on our church app (download from the app store)

Thank you for your understanding, prayers and support during this time.

Colossians 3:15

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.

Join us Sunday, July 12th @ 9:00am for Car Church!

You will be able to clearly hear the service on 98.1 fm while you are safe in your car while on or near our church campus. If you prefer to stay home, we will have a live stream on our Facebook Page at 9:00am. We will also post a more polished video of the service on our website afterwards. We are excited and thankful to be together as a church in this way!
